Osher Lifelong Learning Institute offers learning community for lifelong learners age 50 and up who are eager to explore traditional and new areas of knowledge without tests or grades. Classes offered include art, film, health, history, literature, music, and science. No previous educational background is necessary, just a desire and interest to learn or experience something new. Although these classes are designed for adults age 50 and over, there is no age limit for enrollment. Any adult student is welcome.

Placer County PROTECT is a multi-disciplinary elder abuse task force team focused on protecting our elderly citizens from physical, financial, and emotional abuse. We offer Aging Safely Presentations about local scams and frauds targeting our seniors.

We also have a fraud hotline (916-645-7226) seniors can call if they are worried about a scam. For any senior who wants to receive updates on local scams in the community targeting our senior citizens, join our Email Alert System by sending an email request to join to PROTECT@placer.ca.gov.
