Nevada County Now offers paratransit and senior on-demand dial-a-rides. There is no Sunday service. The Alta Colfax is run by Placer County Transit and is a deviated fixed route servicing ¾ of a mile off I-80 from Auburn Amtrak station, Colfax Amtrak station, and the Alta store. It operates twice daily Monday – Friday.

Hospitality House offers two transportation programs: Homeless Access Transport (HAT) and Older Adults Access Transport.

• Both services are free and donations are welcome on the Older Adults Access Transport van.
• Vans have lifts for wheelchairs and other mobility devices.
• The service area is basically from the Brighton Greens Department of Social Services office in the south to the Rood Center in Nevada City in the north.
