Any rent payment assistance help is based on their income and need.  Some people get help with the security deposit, first month’s rent, and then a few months of rental assistance.  Others get help for longer and some for shorter period of time.  The extent of rental assistance depends on the individual and their need. A housing counselor may be able to help them find a suitable and affordable apartment in Nevada County.

The Gathering Inn has funding from the City of Rocklin until June 30, 2023 to use for Homeless Prevention and Rapid Re-Housing (RRH) for Rocklin residents.
 
Homeless Prevention
Applicants must currently be in housing in Rocklin but need help to stay in it. This program can provide one month of rent.
 
Rapid Re-Housing
Applicants need to be in Rocklin, from Rocklin, or moving back to Rocklin to stay. This program can provide deposit and one month of rent.
