Granite Wellness Centers (GWC), formerly known as Community Recovery Resources or CoRR, provides comprehensive services to promote wellness for individuals and families with a focus on addressing substance use disorders.

GWC is a source of naloxone, a medication used to rapidly reverse opioid overdose.

Granite Wellness offers residential and outpatient substance use disorder treatment services for adults and youth with personalized treatment plans including group and individual counseling and other services.

Granite Wellness also provides transitional housing up to six months for adult men, women, and women with young children for people enrolled in outpatient services. Other services include educational groups for parenting, anger management, DUI services, Resilient Child program, Family Educational Series, and more.

The Granite Wellness Centers wellness team includes doctors and mid-level providers offering medical expertise to help support your recovery from substance use disorders. Granite Wellness providers offer Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) in an outpatient setting.

Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) is one way to help those with opioid use disorders recover their lives. MAT is a whole-person approach that provides effective treatment for opioid use disorders. MAT combines FDA-approved medications (Buprenorphine & Naltrexone) to treat opioid use disorders along with counseling and behavioral therapy.

MAT does not replace one addictive drug with another. It provides a safe, controlled level of medication to overcome problem use of opioids. GWC MAT Program provides:

The Sierra Community Medical Foundation (SCMF) currently reaches hundreds of people each month in Placer, Nevada, Yuba, Sutter, and Colusa Counties. Part of our work addresses the issues involved with opioid safety and medication-assisted treatment access through the Placer-Nevada Rx Safety Coalition. We are here to help our uninsured and indigent community partners in getting access to education about healthier lifestyles. Our other services revolve around our new physician wellness program which provides opportunities for physicians to alleviate burnout and reduce stress, and our Adverse Childhood Experiences, or ACEs, coalition.
