If you did not receive your high school diploma, had bad grades, or received your GED, you can still go to a community college and then if, you wish, transfer to a 4 year college.

You can transfer to a 4 year college after you get 70 units at a community college which can be used toward obtaining a Bachelors degree. Vocational training programs also available such as nursing, computer programming, mechanics, and electronics to name a few.

The Guardian Scholars Program works to improve the educational outcomes for foster youth and former foster youth by providing services and support to meet their needs through transition, graduation, and post-graduate planning.
