St. Vincent de Paul's Dining Room program provides a warm, prepared meal three days a week, and a cold meal two days a week. Volunteers create and serve balanced meals to hundreds of clients each week. All are welcome.

St. Vincent de Paul provides individuals and families groceries through the Food Locker Program. Also hygiene packets as available. SVDP also offers families with infants and small toddlers:

  • Baby food

  • Feminine hygiene (pads, liners, tampons) also known as period, menstruation, or menstrual supplies or products

Eligibility
To be eligible for participation in the Food Locker Program all clients may complete an application if they are a resident of Placer County, show proof of current residency, and provide a valid form of photo identification.

These are drop-in services and no appointment is necessary.

Two mornings each week an eligibility specialist from County of Placer Human Services is available to assist eligible individuals applying for Medi-Cal, CalFresh, CalWORKs, and General Relief.

The drop-in service is open Monday and Thursday (excluding holidays) from 8am-12pm at 415 Roseville Square, Roseville, CA, 95678.

The program aims to streamline the process of applying for and managing food, healthcare, and other essential benefits. Residents can get assistance and ask questions about the status of their benefits. Bilingual support is available.

The San Juan Ridge Family Resource Center (FRC) provides families in the San Juan Ridge area with information and referrals to local resources, services, and facilities on a drop-in basis for visitors of all ages.

NOTE: The FRC does NOT have any housing resources and does NOT have any gift cards, gas cards, etc.


Services the FRC does offer include: computer, phone, fax, printer, children's play space, clothes closet, food pantry, diapers, lending and reference libraries, information, referrals, parenting support, weekly children's playgroup, summer camps, adult yoga, children's dance classes, and periodic events. Free Drive-thru Food Distributions
The free drive-thru food distributions offer fresh seasonal California-grown produce and non-perishable food items. Drive through locations are held weekly in the following locations: Cameron Park, Colfax, Forest Hill, Georgetown, Lincoln, Placerville, Pollock Pines, Rocklin, Sheridan. Click here for locations and schedules.
