FREED provides support for individuals with traumatic brain injury (TBI) to reintegrate into the community, attend a weekly support group, receive supported living services, vocational services, or other independent living services.

The Victim/Witness program provides advocacy, information, and support services to victims and witnesses of crime in Placer County. Program services are free and available regardless of citizenship status. 

Eligibility requires that the crime be reported to law enforcement, that victims cooperate in the investigation and prosecution, and that victims did not contribute to the events leading to the crime.

Services include:

• Court escort and support during criminal proceedings
• Referrals for emergency assistance, including shelter, food, and clothing
• Follow-up counseling and employer intervention
• Reimbursement for mental health counseling, medical and dental expenses, wage loss, and emergency relocation costs

Well Connected (formerly Senior Center Without Walls) and Well Connected Español are phone and online programs offering activities, education, friendly conversation, and an assortment of classes and support groups to older adults accessible from the comfort of home. The programs consist of participants, staff, facilitators, presenters, and other volunteers who care about each other, and who value being connected to engaging content, and to each other. All activities are free to participants and are available in English and Spanish.

Well Connected members can play a game, learn a language, write a poem, go on a virtual tour, meditate, share a gratitude, get support, and most importantly, connect and engage with others every day across the country. Well Connected is a Community Service of Covia and is free of charge to all participants and available to adults over the age of 60.

Wellness Within is a nonprofit wellness center for patients, survivors, caregivers, and families affected by the trauma, stress and anxiety brought on by cancer.

Located in downtown Roseville, Wellness Within is an open door to help, hope and holistic healing for people unified by the shared experience of cancer and its impacts. This center offers clarity through the fog of information and emotions that follow cancer diagnosis; breathing room to focus on your quality of life and healing while letting your physicians focus on the illness. Wellness Within provides a wide range of services that enhance an individual’s ability to experience quality of life through practices that incorporate physical, emotional, and mental wellbeing.

Western Neuropathy Association's provides support groups in California, Nevada, Oregon, and Texas that meet regularly for people with neuropathy and to those who care about them to share information, encourage each other, and find treatments that help.
