The Housing Choice Voucher Program (HCV) formerly known as the Section 8 Voucher Program, is a rental assistance program to help low and very low-income families, persons with disabilities, and seniors so they can live in affordable, safe, and decent housing. Roseville Housing Authority's jurisdiction includes the City of Rocklin (Rocklin is covered by both Placer County Housing Authority and Roseville Housing Authority). Funds are only available to people from the waitlist, which opens from time to time.
Housing Choice Voucher Program (can be used anywhere) but unfortunately the waiting list is closed and applications are not available at this time. The waiting list will open once they have assisted all applicants on their current waiting list. If you would like to be notified when the waiting list reopens you can sign up for an email notification on their Housing Choice Voucher webpage, by clicking on the link or scanning the QR code with a camera phone.

Each Mercy Housing community has its own leasing office and its own application process. Please call each community directly if you or your family would like to rent a low-income apartment home at one of Mercy Housing’s communities.
When you call, the community staff can answer questions regarding apartment availability, rent, income requirements or restrictions and how to obtain an application for housing.

Lotus Behavioral Health Crisis Center provides a voluntary urgent care center for Placer County residents experiencing a mental health crisis.
Lotus is a short-term place to stay, designed to provide an appropriate level of care. Length of stay is 23 hours, or up to 48 hours if awaiting connection to additional resources. Individuals can decompress for up to two days and be treated by trained clinicians. Together, they work to address the immediate crisis and create a plan to access needed wrap-around services before discharge, including housing needs, social services or substance use treatment.
Placer County adults experiencing mental health challenges can call a 24-hour phone line, 888-886-5401, to be screened for a variety of other mental health programs offered.
Other services ranging from outpatient therapy to psychiatric hospitalization are also offered onsite, primarily serving Medi-Cal recipients.
