October 2023 - Connecting Point’s Disaster Case Management Program (DCMP) can work with eligible Nevada County Residents who were impacted by the 2023 Winter Storms. The funding is from FEMA disaster declaration DR-4699-CA - California Severe Winter Storms, Straight-line Winds, Flooding, Landslides, and Mudslides - FEMA incident period February 21, 2023 - July 10, 2023.

If your primary residence was severely damaged or destroyed by the 2023 Winter Storms, you may be eligible to receive case management. Renters can also be referred if there was damage to their personal property. Having applied for FEMA already is NOT a requirement for case management services.

Please call 211 or 833-342-5211 to be referred to a Disaster Case Manager. All navigator services are free.

Cecil Construction, Inc provides emergency home services 24/7/365 to Grass Valley, California residents and the surrounding Sierra Nevada Foothills areas. The company has a number of Emergency Response Crews that are fully equipped with everything they need from trucks to tarps to ladders to sealants to mitigate further damage to property. They can also do residential and commercial interior and exterior painting. Cecil Construction is a member of the nonprofit Nevada County Contractors' Association.

The Nevada County Relief Fund was established in April 2020 to mitigate the impacts of the COVID-19 crisis. The fund now serves as a single “Emergency Relief Fund” to provide relief to Nevada County residents following the official declaration of a local emergency. The Nevada County Relief Fund is under the fiscal sponsorship of the Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital Foundation.
