The UC Davis Alzheimer's Disease Center (ADC) is a clinic specializing in dementia evaluations and research.

We provide a diagnostic work-up for those who are experiencing significant memory problems.

Persons who come to the ADC clinic are often seen by a team of health professionals:
- Behavioral neurologist or geriatric psychiatrist
- Neuropsychologist
- Social worker

Appointments are scheduled after we receive a completed health questionnaire about the patient and copies of medical records about the patient's past visits to doctors, clinics of hospitals. Diagnostic results and recommendations for patient care and caregiving are presented to the family after all laboratory and clinical information is obtained, the patient evaluated, and the team has had a chance to discuss the patient's results in a case conference.

The MIND Institute is an international, multidisciplinary Research Center, Assessment Clinic and Resource Center striving to understand the causes and develop better treatments and ultimately cures for Neurodevelopmental disorders.

The research conducted at the MIND Institute focuses on Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Down Syndrome, Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder (ADHD), Fragile X Syndrome and 22q11.2 Deletion Syndrome.

The MIND Institute is classified as one of 15 Intellectual and Developmental Disability Research Centers (IDDRC) in the Nation. The research conducted at the MIND Institute will help develop future directions for treatment strategies and approaches.
