Riverview Homes serves seniors and people with special needs who lack the economic resources to access quality, safe housing opportunities. Accepts Housing Choice Vouchers (Section 8); 3 to 4 bedroom units available.

Each Mercy Housing community has its own leasing office and its own application process. Please call each community directly if you or your family would like to rent a low-income apartment home at one of Mercy Housing’s communities. When you call, the community staff can answer questions regarding apartment availability, rent, income requirements or restrictions and how to obtain an application for housing.

AMI Housing, Inc (AMIH) is a California 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation that provides housing, employment and life skills programs to residents of Nevada County and Placer County who otherwise might be homeless. AMIH also manages and operates Nevada County Housing Development Corporation. Offers assistance in multiple languages through a Language Line service.

AMI's Sun Rose Apartments are studio apartments with full kitchens and private bathrooms, ADA units and hearing-impaired units. Studio sizes are typically 350 sq. ft., however, some of the units are up to 500 sq. ft. and can accommodate 2 possibly 3 person households (small child and 2 parents).

Eligibility requirements
Individual or household must be Placer County residents, experiencing homelessness, and very low income. They are preferencing individuals/households with Housing Choice Vouchers or Section 8 variants AND high vulnerability index scores. The three-story property is being developed on a portion of vacant land on the Sisters of Mercy of Auburn campus. McAuley Meadows is designed to serve seniors with very low and extremely low incomes.
