AMIH’s Emergency Solutions Grant Rapid Rehousing program can help people who are low income and are homeless, or at risk of homelessness. Any rent payment assistance help is based on their income and need.  Some people get help with the security deposit, first month’s rent, and then a few months of rental assistance.  Others get help for longer and some for shorter period of time.  The extent of rental assistance depends on the individual and their need. A housing counselor will help them find a suitable and affordable apartment in Nevada or Placer County.
