Screening and Applications
Sierra Community House will screen households to assist each community member who may qualify. If households qualify, Sierra Community House will go through the application process with them so that the household may receive assistance with their rental payments.

Project ReStart is a cooperative community effort to reduce and prevent homelessness, provide professional mental health services, and to assist families and individuals become self-sufficient. ReStart’s Mental Health Support Center offers clinical and non-clinical services for eligible individuals and families who are homeless or at risk of homelessness and have a mental illness. Permanent Supportive Housing is provided as a component to ReStart’s Mental Health Support Center Program. ReStart also provides crisis intervention and stabilization services for Washoe County residents who are in a family, people with a long-term disability, seniors over 60 and individuals with HIV/AIDS and others who are at risk of becoming homeless.
