Interfaith Food Ministry, in a partnership with SpeeDee Carts, offers food home delivery to eligible people. Qualifying clients include seniors, people with disabilities, people who have tested positive for COVID-19 and are in isolation, and individuals who only sometimes have access to transportation.

When? Every 2nd, 3rd, and 4th week of the month

Auburn Interfaith Food Closet offers a Home Delivery Program that provides participants with enough food each month to make 12 meals for everyone in the household.

The home delivery service is not on-demand, but occurs monthly on a pre-established schedule. Each guest's order is customized monthly, to best serve their needs.

The Hunger Relief Program, formerly Project MANA, is a food pantry that provides hunger relief services through weekly food distributions and other community food programs. All services are free and available in English and Spanish.


Sierra Community House Food Distributions

  • Community Pantry Food Distribution takes place every Tuesday from 12-6 p.m. at our Truckee Warehouse – 12116 Chandelle Way Unit 2D, Truckee.
  • Walk-Up Food distribution takes place every Wednesday from 3-4:30 p.m. at our Kings Beach Office – 265 Bear St, Kings Beach.
  • Drive-Through Food Distribution takes place every Thursday from 2-3:30 p.m. at St. Patrick’s Episcopal Church – 341 Village Blvd., Incline Village.
  • All are welcome, services are free, and no proof of income, ID, or other documents are required to receive services.
