Tahoe Truckee Community Foundation provides grants of approximately 1.6 Million dollars annually from the unrestricted fund and from donor advised funds. Grant applications are accepted anytime and reviewed quarterly. Provides technical support including grant writing advice, workshops, one-on-one consultations and facilitation services to nonprofit organizations or community groups.

The Tahoe Truckee Child Abuse Prevention Council (CAPC) is a program of the Tahoe Truckee Community Foundation. CAPC's activities are funded by the Children’s Trust Fund in both Placer and Nevada Counties.

TDPUD does not generate electricity locally and depends on NV Energy for transmission.
