Loomis Senior Life Center provides numerous programs and meets at the 1st United Methodist Church in Loomis. The center's goal is to expand the mind, the body, and the spirits of seniors to enable them to stay in their homes for as long as possible.

Programs include:

• Zumba Gold
• Stretchersize 
• Yoga 
• Tai Chi 
• Bingo
• Art class 
• Sewing and quilting 
• Special programs (provided once in a while)
  • Choirs
  • Instrumentalists
  • Speakers on topics of interest to seniors
  • Card games
  • Board games
  • Conversation

All services are provided for $4.00 per person per day.

Loomis Senior Life Center provides a continental breakfast and a full nutritious hot lunch each day. There is a pianist that plays at lunch time. Come and share your joys and concerns in a warm, friendly atmosphere.

The Salvation Army of Roseville offers community meals, a food pantry, and food boxes for people and families in need.

Services include:

• Community meals
  • Lunch on Fridays
  • Breakfast on Saturdays
• A food pantry, which can be used as needed
• A once-monthly food box, stocked with groceries

Additional notes:

Residential proof and identification documents are required to receive food boxes.

The Salvation Army provides basic needs assistance, community support programs, and emergency services for people living in Rocklin and Roseville.

Services include:

• Rental assistance
• Utility assistance, available when funding allows
• Food assistance, including:
  • Emergency pantry
  • Community meals (times vary)
• Disaster response, including fire recovery and emergency aid
• Shower access on Fridays from 6am-7am (no clothing distribution)
• Holiday programs, such as seasonal food boxes and gift drives
• Childcare assistance.  After-School and Summer Day Camp Programs
• Spiritual support, such as pastoral care and prayer counseling

St. Vincent de Paul provides a Dining Room program which provides a warm, prepared meal three days a week, and a cold meal two days a week.

Volunteers create and serve balanced meals to hundreds of clients each week. All are welcome.

The Dining Room operates:

• Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, 12-1:30pm
• Saturday and Sunday, 2:30-4pm
• Closed Friday and Monday

Additional notes:

A free meal is available to both homeless and low-income people and families in Roseville every day of the week.​
