Tahoe Truckee Area Regional Transportation (TART) provides public transportation, much of it free, for the Truckee – North Lake Tahoe region. TART connects with Greyhound, Amtrak, and Truckee Transit at the Truckee Depot. Offers ADA complementary service for individuals who cannot ride a public bus due to physical, mental, or other health issues. If a person qualifies, then they can get door to door service within the TART fixed route. TART is a public transit service operated by the Placer County Department of Public Works, funded by Placer County, Washoe County Regional Transportation Commission and the Town of Truckee.

TART has four distinct services

The Tahoe City Public Utility District (TCPUD) offers a variety of indoor and outdoor rental spaces for public and private events, meetings, sports, and recreation.

Facilities include community centers, athletic fields, beaches, and park areas.

Key features:

Rental process:

Interim Housing beds are designed for stays of up to 90 days; formal reassessments conducted every 30 days to evaluate progress and ongoing eligibility.
