Tahoe Truckee Area Regional Transportation (TART) provides public transportation, much of it free, for the Truckee – North Lake Tahoe region. TART connects with Greyhound, Amtrak, and Truckee Transit at the Truckee Depot. Offers ADA complementary service for individuals who cannot ride a public bus due to physical, mental, or other health issues. If a person qualifies, then they can get door to door service within the TART fixed route. TART is a public transit service operated by the Placer County Department of Public Works, funded by Placer County, Washoe County Regional Transportation Commission and the Town of Truckee.

The Tahoe City Public Utility District (TCPUD) offers a variety of indoor and outdoor rental spaces for public and private events, meetings, sports, and recreation.

Facilities include community centers, athletic fields, beaches, and park areas.

Key features:

• Online reservations can be made via the CivicRec registration system
• Indoor and outdoor spaces are available for events, classes, and gatherings
• Resident discounts are available for those in the TCPUD service area
• Refund and cancellation policies are based on notice periods
• Security deposits are required for all rentals

Rental process:

1. Create an account on the CivicRec platform
2. Select the facility, date, and time
3. Complete reservation forms and waivers
4. Submit payment and required insurance (as applicable)

Insurance and additional requirements apply for events involving alcohol or large gatherings.

Rentals are confirmed once all forms, payment, and insurance documentation are received.
