AMI's Sun Rose Apartments are studio apartments with full kitchens and private bathrooms, ADA units and hearing-impaired units. Studio sizes are typically 350 sq. ft., however, some of the units are up to 500 sq. ft. and can accommodate 2 possibly 3 person households (small child and 2 parents).

Eligibility requirements
Individual or household must be Placer County residents, experiencing homelessness, and very low income. They are preferencing individuals/households with Housing Choice Vouchers or Section 8 variants AND high vulnerability index scores. Placer County Office of Education Foster Youth Services partners with the Children's System of Care to identify foster youth so they can participate in the Independent Living Program (ILP) for Placer County. ILP provides training, services, and benefits to assist current and former foster youth in achieving self-sufficiency prior to, and after leaving, the foster care system. 

Eligibility - Youth are eligible for ILP services from age 14 to the day before their 21st birthday, provided one of the following criteria is met:
