The goals of 4-H are to help young people develop initiative and assume responsibility, develop leadership and be of service to others, develop the ability to live and work cooperatively with others, acquire knowledge and skills and explore careers, achieve satisfaction from work and accomplishments, choose from alternatives and plan satisfying lives, and develop positive self images.

MISSION
The 4-H mission is to help youth develop into responsible productive citizens of the world, and to improve the well-being of society through the use of research-based learn by doing experiences.
