The COVID 19 Financial Relief program can help when Placer County residents' ability to pay their rent has been affected by COVID-19, as well as those who have been unaffected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

This program is for Placer County residents who are:

• behind on rent
• not yet behind on rent but who anticipate becoming late on their rent payment

Call 211 Placer County at 1-833-342-5211 (or 1-833-DIAL211) to see if you may be eligible for receiving financial assistance.

Placer County residents are encouraged to call 2-1-1 Placer County if they have experienced any of the following:

• Received an Eviction Notice
• Lost 50% or more of your income 
• Received a 15 Day Notice To Quit
• Experienced an increase in rent and a decrease in income

If you answer yes to any of these questions, you may be eligible for financial relief. Please call 2-1-1 Placer County to learn more about speaking with a specialist.

Once you receive a referral (if you qualify), you will be asked to provide:

• Photo ID
• 3 months of Bank Statements
• Notice (Eviction or To Quit)
• Lease Agreement
• Proof of Income/Decrease in Income
• Social Security number
