The Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital Foundation raises money and solicits volunteers to help fund and staff the Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital.

It also offers outreach programs, community education, and support for acquiring and updating hospital equipment and facilities.

Foundation programs include:

• Alzheimer's Outreach Program (AOP) - Helps support anyone with a memory impairment (Alzheimer's disease or any other dementia) and/or their caregiver(s)
• Falls Prevention Coalition - Offers information about how to assess home and other environments for things that might be risks for causing falls
• Cancer Support Groups
• Social Outreach Program - Supports and promotes the mental health of isolated seniors and adults with disabilities
