The PG&E REACH program helps low-income families keep their utilities services turned on in times of hardship or crisis. REACH stands for Relief for Energy Assistance through Community Help.
REACH provides an energy credit for up to $300 based on the past due bill (energy credit support is subject to funding availability). A non-profit organization runs the REACH program from 170 offices in Northern and Central California
PLEASE NOTE:
REACH is available only once within a 12-month period and customer must qualify for the program.
REACH funding is a fixed amount each month and can run out before the end of the month. In this case, people must wait to apply until the beginning of the next calendar month.

The REACH program is no longer permitting applications to be completed by telephone. Going forward, please direct any client that cannot be seen in person to the online Dollar Energy Fund MyApp application: hardshiptools.org/MyApp.
Housing Choice Voucher (Section 8) recipients are eligible for REACH.
